Baku\u2019s post-war restoration removed the conical roof atop the central dome, distorting the structure\u2019s authenticity. New construction follows a master plan developed by Chapman Taylor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As development activity encircles the cathedral, an active place of worship until 2023, CHW calls on architectural firms remaking Shusha to preserve both the authenticity and integrity of the town\u2019s historic fabric.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Satellite imagery shows a new threat to the integrity of the 19th century Ghazanchetsots Armenian Cathedral in Shusha.
