On September 19, 2024, CHW co-director Prof. Adam T. Smith provided witness testimony to the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission of the U.S. Congress. The hearing “Human Rights in Azerbaijan Since the Fall of Nagorno-Karabakh” examined “alleged human rights violations perpetrated by the government of Azerbaijan against ethnic Armenians since the fall of Nagorno-Karabakh and ethnic Azerbaijanis who oppose the government.”
